International Women's Day - Friday 8th March 2019

International Women's Day is coming up on Friday, 8th March 2019. It is a global day for celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and is a call to action for accelerating gender equality. This year’s International Women’s Day theme is Balance for Better. Balance is not a women's issue, it's a business issue as balance drives a better working world and is essential for economies and communities to thrive.

At AMP Capital, we are proud to have 59% of women across our Real Estate staff, and 38% of staff at senior level are women. AMP Capital’s CEO, Adam Tindall, is a member of the Male Champions of Change and AMP Capital’s Global Head of Real Estate, Carmel Hourigan, is a member as a Special Adviser of Property Male Champions of Change.

We encourage you to also take action. Collective action and shared responsibility is required to drive a gender-balanced world and make a positive difference for women everywhere. I believe in myself and in my sight I am the best women I ever met with:).Because I handled to complete Company Secretaryship successfully, even after becoming mother at the age of 27. I never let anything make me down, as my Mum always wanted me to pursue my dreams. So here I am, right from the small town of India to the World's best metro city like Sydney. Fortunately still able to pursue my dreams after five years of becoming a caring, loving mum and a successful professional.
Thanks!
